Also do make sure you ask the hotel whether there are any late night bars close by. Some hotels, even on the beach, have bars next to them which play live music until 2am. Another tip is to check whether there are any surf boarders on the beach close to the hotel. This has become a popular sport in Koh Samui in certain seasons, and if you enjoy swimming in the sea, the last thing you want is to have to look out for surf boarders. But do not let these tips put you off. Koh Samui is a great place for just lazing on the beach, enjoying fine massages, partying and more.
